We specialise in design work and can develop a solution for your exact problem, if we have not developed a solution already. Aerodynamic Design

Certification Services
The company has approval from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority to design and approve modifications to aircraft. This is in the form of an Instrument of Appointment for Civil Aviation Regulations Part 21M. Certification services include production of certification reports which show compliance with airworthiness regulations.
Composite Materials Design, Analysis & Testing
· The company has extensive experience in the use of composite materials and sandwich structures in commercial and aircraft applications.

· Techniques have been developed in-house for testing the composites typically used in light aircraft manufacture.
· From that in-house structural testing, and from specific project testing, a vast amount of material "Design Allowable" data has been accumulated.
· Analytical capability for calculating the strength and stiffness of multi-layered composites and sandwich structures has been developed.
Flight Testing Services
· Analysis of flight test data;
· Flight clearance of modifications;
· Performance data gathering for:
  o cruise speed,
 
o stall speed,
  o climb rate,
  o take off & landing distances;

Project management of prototype aircraft flight test programs to FAR 23, 25, 27, and 29 and JAR‑VLA;
Reduction of performance data to standard conditions and presentation of that data in aircraft flight manuals.
Weight and Balance
Techniques have been developed for weight prediction and weight control of prototype aircraft during manufacture. Weight control of aircraft certified in Australia is carried out and includes periodic weighing of aircraft and preparation of loading systems for inclusion in aircraft flight manuals. The company owns sets of electronic load cell scales as well as electronic platform scales for the periodic weighing of all aircraft including helicopters. The scales can weigh aircraft of all sizes - from the Cessna 152 through to a Boeing 737.
Burn Testing
Burn testing of aircraft furnishings to show compliance with FAR 23, FAR 25 and JAR‑VLA flammability requirements:
· seat covers
· floor coverings
· curtains
· cabin and cargo linings
· bulkhead materials.
