Design of Modifications and Repairs
From modifying your seat layout, repairing your galley, installing a GPS or Satphone system or redesigning a frequently unserviceable part, ATS can develop a fast, efficient and cost effective solution for your requirements using the latest in 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) techniques.
Analysis
Following on from the design, we can perform all required analysis methods to ensure regulatory compliance and continued airworthiness. We are specialists in traditional stress analysis, Finite Element Analysis and Fatigue and Damage Tolerance.
Testing
Testing can be required for many aspects of airline operations. Flight manual figures can often be conservative and overly restrictive. Standard passenger weights can be unrepresentative. We can assist you with a testing program to ensure the most efficient use of your aircraft.
Approval
In a highly regulated industry such as Air Transport, ATS can provide the approval for your solution. From approval of modifications, flight manual changes, repairs, weight and balance, APMA and alternate maintenance practices, ATS ensures you have the right ticks in the right boxes.
Manufacture
Need a part that is no longer made? Is the OEM unable to deliver it in time? Need a modification made under an approved production system? ATS can manufacture any component you need, from avionics to upholstery, from sheetmetal to machined titanium, quickly with all the required approvals.
Weight Control
Loading an airliner is a complex task and ATS has the experience to develop, implement , train and approve all the aspects of an aircraft loading system. From manual trim sheets to electronic loading and departure control systems we will assist you to ensure that your system is fast, efficient and safe.
Liaison
After 30 years in the Australian aerospace industry, we are well placed to discuss your requirements with CASA, EASA or the FAA. We also recognise that for leased aircraft, local approvals (CASR Part 21 M) can become a liability on lease return, and hence we'll liaise with the OEM to ensure that all repairs or modifications are approved by the required authorities to prevent any holdups later on.
