AEA Aerospace Group (AEA), founded in 1978, is a leading provider of aeronautical design, analysis and manufacturing services to the aviation industry throughout Australia and the South Pacific. We lead the way in offering our customers a total in-house design service including structural, mechanical, system and avionics solutions, for both fixed and rotary wing platforms.
Through our sister company, Airline Technical Services (ATS), we also offer specialised services to cater for the airline industry, including engineering and design compliance and certification, repair and overhaul support, modifications and upgrades, complete weight and balance and AOG Support. We service Australia’s leading airlines because our customers value our rapid response times, customised solutions and integrated staff support to keep their fleets in the air.
With a national Australian presence, our organisation is rapidly growing and we are looking for qualified Aeronautical Engineers with the appropriate experience to join our team. To be successful in the above roles, you will need a minimum of:
- A recognised degree in either Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or equivalent
- 3-6 year’s experience for Engineers and 10 years + for Senior positions
- Proven experience with repairs and modifications across fixed and rotary wing platforms
- Experience in engineering drawing
- Ability to obtain CASA Part 21M (CAR35/36) Instrument of Appointment (senior positions only)
- Airline maintenance, engineering or weight control experience and the ability to obtain Australian CASA Weight Control Authority (airline position only)
