AEA HeliStinger Rotary Wing Installation
The Helistinger is a rotary-wing survey platform that is suitable for installation on the Eurocopter AS350B, Bell 206B and Bell 206L helicopters.

Operations with the stinger installed are in restricted category and small performance reductions apply. We can supply the full STC modification package including all manufactured parts and hardware under our APMA.

Features
· Lightweight composite construction gives total weight of just 17kg (AS350B & B206B) or 19kg (B206L)
· Easily mounts to skid assembly with easy-release, adjustable clamps.
· Houses magnetometer, preamp, flux gate and optional GPS antenna.
· Optional aft cargo pod carries an additional 7kg of equipment.
· Projects 12 ft. to ensure accurate instrument readings.

Fixed Wing Geophysical Survey Installation
The Geophysical Survey installation allows the fitment of an AEA tailstinger, wingtip pods and associated survey equipment, including crystal packs, into a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan. The tailstinger and wingtip pods allow the carriage of magnetometers away from the electrical interference of the aircraft. Survey operations are in restricted category and small performance reductions apply. Aeronautical Engineers Australia can supply the full STC modification package including all manufactured parts and hardware under our production certificate.

· Lightweight composite construction with minimal modification to aircraft.
· Stinger mounts in place of existing tail cone and projects 14 ft. to ensure accurate instrument readings
· Quick installation and removal of stinger and wing tip pods.
· Equipment installation includes radar altimeter, vertical video camera, crystal packs and associated racking, powered from a standalone survey battery allowing uninterrupted operation before and after flight.
